Description:
Semiconductor Lighting device also means solid-state light emitting device, (or light-emitting diodes, LEDs, made of semiconductor materials). As a source of light device, it has many notable features, such as energy efficient, environmentally friendly, long life, easy maintenance etc. It is one of the high-tech fields in the world's. This course is divided into four parts; first part introduces the substrate and epitaxial material of the LED’s properties, characteristics and growth technique. The second part describes the preparation process of LED chips, high brightness light emitting diode chip structure,and new chip technology that to improve the light extraction efficiency. LED packaging technology and white LED technology introduced in the third section. The fourth section describes the semiconductor lighting applications, development status and potential applications.
