Course Name: Power Management and High-speed I/O in CMOS System
Credit: 2
Prerequisites: CMOS Analog Integrated Circuit Design.
Description:
This course focuses on the support circuits of the information processing unit or system. It covers mainly three contents. The first one is power management including low drop-out linear regulation, DC to DC converter and charge pump. The energy harvest and self-power technology are also introduced in this part. The second part is high-speed I/O theory, modeling and circuits. VCO, PLL, DLL, PI, DRC, and transceiver circuit are the main contents in this part. The last part introduces the fundamental of the analog to digital converters and the digital to analog converters.
